Friendly Invasion - The Argentia Story (Part 1)

Naval Station Argentia was a Base containing top secret information and equipment located in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador from 1941 to 1994. Before the arrival of the American Miliary, Argentia and Marquise were quaint communities with a close-knit community of about 900 people. One day, strange men showed up in their community and harbour with fancy equipment and strange accents, the American Miliary were surveying and planning to transfer their adored Community into a strategic miliary base and airfield. Eventually forced out of their homes, many lives were forever changed as the American Flag appeared above them. Their home would never be recognizable to them again. A sad and tragic event that became one of the many woes or war.

This is Part 1 of a multi episode series detailing events in Argentia such as espionage, UFO's, nuclear weapons storage, top secret surveillance, grave excavation, heroes and health hazards.
